Thank you for booking your consultation
How to prepare for the day
On the day of your appointment, please ensure that you bring:
- A list of your current medicines/repeat prescriptions
- Your glasses (distance/reading/bifocals)
- Your most recent spectacle prescriptions (previous three years if available)
Important instructions:
We will need to dilate your pupils with drops to ensure you’re suitable. You may wish to bring dark glasses, as your eyes will be sensitive to bright light after dilation.
We prefer that you do not wear contact lenses for 48 hours before your appointment. Removing them allows your corneal surface to return to its natural shape, which is essential for the initial eye screening. If you wear your contacts to the appointment, we may need to perform additional testing before the surgery to ensure stability.
