Giving Tuesday – Why We’re Filling Baskets with Hope

Help Us Fill Our Baskets with Hope

‘Tis the season for giving, and in the spirit of the holidays, we are using a portion from every procedure from now until Christmas to help us fill our Hope Baskets to give to the women of the Hope Center of Indianapolis.

What is the Hope Center?

Human trafficking is a rapidly growing problem all over the U.S., and Indiana is not exempt from it. In 2017, there were 93 cases of human trafficking in Indiana alone. The Hope Center’s mission is to help women who are coming out of human trafficking by providing resources to help them grow and develop personally, professionally and spiritually. Its residential campus houses women who have recently escaped human trafficking and helps them recover in a loving, family environment.

The Residential Program at the Hope Center lasts about 13 months. During the program, the women have access to Bible studies, church services, education programs, financial education classes and health and wellness classes. Outside of its residential program, the center also offers access to medical services, mental health and behavior counseling, and substance abuse services.

Why We Are Donating

This holiday season, 20/20 Institute wants to help the women of the Hope Center have a merry Christmas. Our Hope Baskets will include gifts that empower these women and make them feel good, like makeup, jewelry and accessories.  The Hope Center is a Christ-centered organization, and its mission and work are close to our hearts, not just at Christmas time, but all year long.

Do you want to do more to help? You can become a volunteer with the Hope Center, or you can give monetary donations here.  The center also offers tours on Saturdays.
