Clark Springs, M.D.

Dr. Springs is a board-certified ophthalmologist and is fellowship-trained in corneal and refractive surgery. Dr. Springs is originally from South Carolina and graduated with high honors from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. He then graduated with high honors from the  Medical  University of  South Carolina where he received his medical degree. He completed a residency in ophthalmology at the  Indiana  University  Medical  Center where he was elected  Chief  Resident.  He further specialized and completed a fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Duke University.

Dr. Springs is director of Cornea and Refractive Surgery in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Indiana University Medical Center, where he has been a faculty member since 2003. In addition to performing thousands of refractive procedures, Dr. Springs is actively involved in resident education and clinical research. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology with memberships in the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery.

Dr. Springs resides in Indianapolis with his wife and children. He is active in his church and enjoys running, cycling and triathlons.
