Who is Dr. Diana Fisher

Dr. Diana Fisher brings over 30 years of experience in the medical field, including more than 18 years dedicated to eye care and conditions affecting the eyes and face. Her career began as a peripheral vascular intensive care nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. In 2002, she shifted her focus to optometry and has since specialized in treating dry eye and its associated conditions. Dr. Fisher has remained at the forefront of advancements in eye care, offering cutting-edge treatments to her patients.

Dr. Fisher earned her degree as a registered nurse in 1992 from Indiana State University. She later pursued her Bachelor of Optometry degree at Indiana University, graduating in 2002, and completed her Doctor of Optometry two years later with Beta Sigma Kappa honors.

Dr. Fisher is a Board-Certified optometrist specializing in the treatment of dry eye for over 15 years. She is also a trained provider of advanced techniques, including intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments for dry eye and aesthetic conditions. Additionally, she is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Dr. Fisher has a deep commitment to patient care and her community. She serves on the gala committee for the Indiana Blind Children’s Foundation and has participated in mission trips to Mexico, Haiti, and Uganda, providing essential eye care services. In 2017, she led the Elite LASIK and Cataract team to Haiti to care for patients at St. Ard Hospital.

Dr. Fisher specializes in the prevention and treatment of dry eye and related conditions, offering innovative solutions like intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy and advanced dry eye care. She also provides aesthetic injectables and treatments for facial conditions associated with dry eye. Her expertise ensures patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs
